Terms of Transportation Service
Effective transport management requires clear boundaries. We don't believe in fine print that masks intent. These terms ensure that both our drivers and your precious cargo remain protected throughout the haulage cycle.
Review ClausesFreight Claims & Liability
At Canyon Vista Supply Chain Advisors LLC, our liability for loss or damage is strictly governed by established industry standards unless otherwise negotiated in writing. Why risk ambiguity? We adhere to the Carmack Amendment for domestic transit, setting clear caps on valuation and claim filing windows. Claimants should note that inspection must happen at the point of delivery—hidden damage claims require notification within 48 hours.
Payment Terms
Standard invoicing is Net 15. We're firm on late fees because logistics runs on tight margins. Overdue accounts incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge.
Cargo Refusal
Consignees cannot refuse freight based on partial damage. You'll need to accept the shipment and initiate a claim formalizing the discrepancy.
Loading Times
Standard detention begins after 2 hours of wait time. We value our drivers' time—and your project schedule.
Cancellations
Truck-ordered-not-used (TONU) fees apply for cancellations made less than 4 hours before the scheduled pickup window.
Detailed Legal Parameters
